Wall-hung WC: frame, cistern and flush plate

Start with the wall and cistern. Choose the flush plate and pan afterwards.

Compare your options

Your situationWhat to consider
Masonry wallConsider a Kombifix element designed for masonry and the fixing method in its instructions.
Drywall constructionConsider Duofix and its floor and structural fixings. Plasterboard alone does not define the supporting structure.
Replacing a flush plateIdentify the cistern family: Alpha, Sigma or Omega. Brand and plate dimensions alone are insufficient.

Details that change the result

Measure the finished assembly

An 8 cm cistern does not make an 8 cm finished wall. Include the frame, connections, cladding and tiles in your drawing to establish the actual depth.

Choose the pan and seat together

Compare pan projection, fixing centres and connections. Select the seat using the pan reference: a similar shape does not guarantee matching hinges.

Keep the mechanism accessible

The flush plate provides access for servicing. Position furniture and shelves so the plate can be removed. Keep the cistern reference with your project documents.
