Finishes: coordinate and care

Build a coherent palette, then match care to the actual surface treatment.

Compare your options

Your situationWhat to consider
One finish throughoutCompare finish codes across taps, shower and accessories. Two brands’ bronze finishes can describe different shades.
Polished or brushed metalView a sample under your lighting. Brushing direction and reflections change how the colour appears.
PVD or nickel finishLook up care for the exact finish code. Surface durability does not make every descaler suitable.

Details that change the result

Keep the palette focused

Our composition tip: choose one main finish for the most visible fittings. Repeat it on two or three accessories; keep other surfaces quieter to avoid competing reflections.

Separate colour from surface treatment

Brushed brass describes an appearance; PVD describes a deposition process. Keep both pieces of information. THG finish codes identify the variant beyond its commercial name.

Preserve the surface day to day

Keep the care instructions with the reference and finish code. Remove water marks regularly with a suitable cloth. For descaling, follow the manufacturer’s permitted product, dilution and contact time.

Product pairings

A pairing may serve a technical function or coordinate a style. Each set states the criterion used.

EDIFIS composition advice

Liceo Ivory + brushed brass

Our proposal: let the travertine veining create the backdrop, then introduce a brushed-brass accent. This is an aesthetic pairing. Compare samples in person and choose the tile finish for its installation area.
